News CC – Week of 10/13/17

Here is this weeks Adobe NEWS Creative Cloud for October 13, 2017.

1. Illustrator and Maxon Cineware join hands

Cinema 4D and After Effects but now use Cinema 4D in Illustrator, forget about the 3D extrude & bevel effect! Welcome to the new world AI, about time! Use your artwork and colors right in Illustration to wrap that coke can or any object created. There’s a new way to create that mock up or a new way to blend 4d with 2d. Head over to illustrator.maxon.net to download that plugin today!

2. Nested Styles in Indesign, Social Post on Mobile & Vintage Design in Illustrator & More

Terry White and Paul Trani are at it again in their mini classes online!

Terry gets you started with Nested Styles in InDesign so that – if you have a long document, formatting is simple and no, this is not just character styles and paragraph styles… it’s both, nested!

Looking to use something other than adobe spark post? Android fans rejoice, Terry takes you through Adobe Comp CC that can be used on either the Android or iOS!

Terry also shows us why we should be on behance. It’s a dedicated social platform for creative where you can post your work, get inspired – and meet the best creatives in the business. Did I say it was free without a CC subscription? Head over to behance.net!

Finally, Paul Trani teaches us how to do a vintage design in illustrator – we know retro is back, mini Nintendo, mini super Nintendo, well vintage and retro are different, no?

3. Heading to Las Vegas for Adobe Max?

Going to MAX? Early this week Paul Trani went live to talk a little about what to expect, some small sneaks but, it was more of a tease…. I will be out there taking my notes and learning new stuff! Last year was my first year and it is well worth it.

If you are around and want to hook up, DM or hit me up on twitter @orlandoayala.

Hope to see you guys out there!

That’s some of your news for Creative Cloud this week, please like, share or subscribe and I’ll see you next week!
