News CC – Week of 10/20/17

Here is this weeks Adobe NEWS Creative Cloud for October 20, 2017.

Adobe Max has been nuts! Adobe Sensi is insane and will be coming! We have updates all across the board – with the beta release of Adobe XD, Adobe Dimension and Lightroom CC. Our favorite apps that we all know and love like Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects has added some cool stuff too! Now there is so much that we can go over but here are my top updates for this weeks NEWSCC including MAX Sneaks!

1. Photoshop: Pen, Masking and Brushes Oh My

So the pen tool in PS is now more similar to illustrator but if you use brushes, huge update here! You can now create folders and organize your brushes the way you want it! The backend has been improved as well with faster reaction with less lag time especially on larger files.

2. Illustrator: Text Variables and Properties Panel

Illustrator and Photoshop supports OpenType variable fonts, so what that means is that you can modify a font’s weight, width, and more to create your own look and feel. AND – with the NEW Properties Panel you can now work faster with access to all your controls in one place. This new panel shows you only the controls you need, when you need them. This maybe be move to all apps soon, I’m sure!

3. After Effects: VR integration

Create compositions in relationship to the camera to create a 360/VR authoring environment where you can add – infographics, animated sequences, abstracts images, and more. You can even see your footage in a perspective-based view similar to what it would look like with a headset AND you can now link and wear one for testing!

MAX Sneaks

1. #ProjectScribbler – take a sketch or old a photo of no color and BAM! Automatically colored!

2.#ProjectSceneStitch – With Adobe Sensi and Adobe stock photos, you can remove a part of your image that you do not like, and similar to the content aware tool, instead of finding the surrounding pixels, Sensi will find the perfect set of images that will replace that area – talk about content aware on steroids! The cool part is You can pick which image works best! Options!

3. #PhysicsPak is an interesting tool but I can quickly see this get ruined. Take different vector icons or objects and have them automatically from a shape or logo…

So this was just a small taste of all the BIG changes happening with Adobe Creative Cloud. YOUR top updates might be completely different than mine! Comment below and let me know what your top update is… || That’s some of your news for Creative Cloud this week and as always Please like, share or subscribe and I’ll see you soon!
